Meet Your Therapist

Holly Lark, LCSW, LICSW

Hello! My name is Holly Lark, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with teenagers and adults looking to understand themselves better, grow, and make positive changes in their lives. As an advocate for the LGBTIA community and a multiculturally sensitive therapist, I am especially sensitive to issues of diversity and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients.

I understand that life can be incredibly challenging and stressful at times. Whether you're struggling to cope with daily stressors, emotion regulation, daily functioning, or you're a high-functioning professional who's struggling with difficult emotions, I am here to help you find balance, emotional awareness, and stability. Together, we will explore the connection between your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and work to identify your strengths and create a more meaningful, authentic life.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including strengths-based, mentalization, psychodynamic, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe in tailoring my approach to each client, based on their unique needs and circumstances. I find the most effective therapy often involves a combination of deep, meaningful conversation, practical tools, useful coping skills, and education.

My approach is holistic, and I believe in the importance of the mind-body connection. I teach techniques to help you calm your nervous system, regulate your emotions, and work with you to help you feel comfortable and safe in your mind and body. Together, we will explore your emotions, identify your strengths, and work to create a happier, more fulfilling life.
